Hook - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone like this movie? I haven't seen it in a while but I was about 6 when I saw this in theaters. I enjoyed it and thought it was a good fantasy film. So many people hate it. Surprising for a Spielberg film starring Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman.

So am I the only one? Or does the majority hate it?

Julia Roberts and Bob Hoskins are also in it, a definite all-time favourite for me, STUNNED it hasn't gotten the blu treatment yet.

I love Hook. I just hate it that Peter Pan is old and fat.. kind of ruined my boyhood image of the kid in tights flying around with pixidust. But it redeems itself when he basically comes back as an adult version of himself with the green outfit and everything.

I always liked it. My mom f*cking hates Julia Roberts being Tinker Bell.

Best she ever looked if you ask me, especially when she blew up and kissed Peter Banning.

I also loved the video game as a kid.. anybody else played this on Sega Genesis? Totally awesome.

There's a rumor going around that Hoffman completely despises the film. A shame because I thought he really put a lot into the character. I've got the dvd from 2000. It's ancient and had no special features. Be nice to have it on blu..

Doesn't like that but likes Meet the Fockers.

Hope they add a bunch of special featues. I would watch every single one of them.

It's overdue in so many ways. It has also been practically 10 years since the dvd release. It needs a new transfer and some 50 gb treatment! Special features ftw!

I loved this movie. I have it on DVD and will pick it up day one when it comes out on BD. Whenever that may be.

It's one of those movies that needs it. For me anyways. This, Goonies, The Burbs, etc..

An all around great movie. I wasn't aware that it was disliked by people in any large number. Hmm...Maybe I live in Neverland.
