Excited about The Godfather 2? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi,

I was just wondering what the thoughts and opinions are on the upcoming Godfather 2 game.

I have just started playing the The Godfather 1 again and it's a pretty good game. The graphics weren't great, but the concept is kinda cool about having to take over businesses, etc.

The Godfather 2 looks to be of a strategy game which I think is a good idea. It looks almost like the board game Risk in certain parts.

Anyways, Im pretty excited for this game, I just hope they have improved the graphics a bit.

I loved the first game, have it on Playstation 2 and Xbox 360. Have got the 2nd one preordered for PS3 with guaranteed release date delivery.

I kinda reminds me of the Scarface game. I dunno. I haven't played the first one yet though, I've been meaning to rent it just never got around to it.

Didn't like the first one...movies are my all-time favorites and the graphics for the new one do not look next gen at all...so probably going to wait for reviews and until I beat Killzone 2 to pick this one up

I should um mention that...well....

I've never actually seen the movies!

The game though made me more interested to watch them, which I will do soon, I promise!

I have seen the movies but I admit I don't recall anything about them..

The graphics don't look too great for this sequel either.....I'm on the fence how good the game is going to be.

I bet you this game will be better than most games out there. Godfather 1 was a classic.

Only the true Mafia lovers deserve this anyways, no losers allowed.

Not to sure bout this game...the first was good on ps2 and in the 30's, but the second one looks like its in the 70's and to me the ultimate mobster era in the 30's so i have no clue, maybe a rent first

I just bought it 2 days ago...

and i love it, i loved the first one, but this one is 10x better!!!

I rented it. Turned it off after a few hours, boring and repetitive. Graphics aren't that good at all, and the AI is lame. My guys are idiots, and don't do what they're suppose to do or they take forever just to climb into a car.
Extremely disappointed in this game, and a shame that it carries The Godfather name.
Don't buy this game, rent it first if you have to, then you'll be glad you didn't purchase it.

The only thing that I could complain about the 1st game was that it didn't have an autosave option on the PS3 version and the map/compass on the bottom right hand corner was very confusing because it didn't give you a clear direction of where you needed to go in order to reach your destination.
