That's what makes this such a fantastic idea for a thread and an invaluable resource. Even with daily forum and other site checks, there always seem to be titles that slip through the cracks and suddenly it's too late to scoop up a wanted title at a good price. Not everyone can Day 1 every release and stem all the a-holes who chime in later with, "Well, if you wanted it that bad you should have bought it sooner like I did."

So a big thanks, dylrichard02. I will be checking this thread regularly to hopefully avoid missing out.

If you want to get really technical, The Rage: Carrie 2 was also a United Artists film.

I didn't want to split the double feature and I figured both were distributed by MGM anyway, that way it doesn't become overly complicated. To be perfectly honest, I listed the titles by production company just in case there were any trends to be seen.

I agree. Horror titles you’ll hear about all over the place when they go out of print but something like Scorchy, which is in their out of print section, I haven’t seen mentioned once.

Sorry if I missed this in the thread somewhere, but it looks like Heavy Traffic is also an MGM title (via Orion) and is on Shout's Going OOP Soon list.

These collections are comprised of MGM films:

This collection also has the following MGM films:

-The Raven
-The Comedy Of Terrors
-The Tomb Of Ligeia
-Dr. Phibes Rises Again

While The Last Man On Earth is public domain, the materials used for the collection are from MGM.

No. Except for something novel like MST3K (which has its own well-informed fanbase anyway), no one cares.

Finally added Shout! Factory, sorry for the procrastination. If and when anyone gets War of the Colossal Beast or How to Make a Monster they are American International/MGM distributed, would anyone mind letting me know if it says 20th Century Fox in the credits towards the bottom of the back cover? Thanks.

MGM just bought out by Amazon

I haven't updated this thread in a little while, but I'll go through today to make sure it's up to date. If you want any of these titles, it might be best to grab them soon as there is no information as to how Amazon will handle physical licensing/distribution.

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/26/b...mazon-MGM.html

P.S. Thanks to TripleHBK for the link to the article they posted in the Scream Factory thread.

Shout Select's Dudes (1987) is NOT an MGM title.

And a lot of titles from The Vincent Price Collections are being re-issued by Kino.

Thanks, I had watched the start of Dudes streaming and could've sworn there was an MGM logo, but my memory isn't great.

Will also post the KLSC Price releases.

I have updated a few that were apart of their going OOP sale, but have since been removed from that page on their website. This titles include;

If anyone is aware of any others that are incorrectly listed as going OOP or OOP on the starting post of this thread, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Anyone who has picked up any of these titles recently, out of curiosity, do they still list the rights as coming from MGM through 20th Century Fox?

Thanks!

For those who missed out on the second volume of the Vincent Price Collection, several of the MGM owned titles in that collection are coming back into print from Kino Lorber Studio Classics.

The new re-releases from KLSC;

The other three titles from this set come from Fox (The Return of the Fly), WB (House on Haunted Hill), and another from MGM which KLSC has yet to announce a new edition of (Dr. Phibes Rises Again!).
