Does anyone else think it would be cool to have blu-ray.com on Twitter? Or just me? =)

To clarify: something similar to @engadget on Twitter (www.twitter.com/engadget)... but for blu-ray.

and i've noticed more and more movie news websites are starting to as well...could be cool? guess it also depends on how many people are actually on it/would subscribe to it

oh i'm not against the idea. just don't know what it is exactly. but i've heard alot about it lately

Sounds like a good idea. Lots of websites are doing it, it can attract alot of people to sign up for the site.

it's called "micro-blogging"... basically 140 characters to do whatever... say what you're doing, what's on your mind, random thoughts... check out the other links one for an idea of how it might look...

I asked myself before I signed up based on another request. After signing up I just dont get it

I get it but i dont see the point

however for a website its a great idea to update people with new releases, reviews, news, etc. Personally I have no use for it(Its like talking to yourself

yea, whomever hotlinked that 'trumpet' picture to me , I posted it on twitter and I clicked today(just for a second look) and it was removed by photobucket for violating TOS

. Its a sad day

I hardly ever post on mine, but it's great for updates on things you're interested in. Trent Reznor posts a lot on Twitter and usually posts information there before it's available anywhere else, for instance. Kevin Smith as well. I'd definitely follow BD.com.

In a websites case, you can just subscribe the twitter to an rss feed (i.e. the news feed) and then they dont have to manage it.

Just signed up for Twitter as I've heard so much about it. I've invited one friend so far and we'll see how it works out. I do like the simple interface and think it could be a fun way to update people on the things happening with us and around us on an instant basis.

One thing is for sure, if I end staying with Twitter I'll dump my Facebook account as that has got to be the most annoying thing ever created.

The twitter domain process kinda sucks how you cant have dashes or dots, and bluray has long since been taken. Soooo they couldnt be twitter.com/bluray or twitter.com/blu-ray same with /blu and /bd
