Arrow Jon Favreau on Twitter

Has anyone else been following Favreau's twitters? They've been pretty interesting as he comments on the making of Iron Man 2.

Quote:
# Dusk in the high desert. The wind is blowing hard.

Could there be a scene involving a certain villain from the first movie that was never resolved?

# Shooting some scenes at Edwards Air Force Base. They have some pretty cool toys out here.
about 8 hours ago from TwitterFon
Probably scenes with Rhodey?

WTF is the deal with Twitter? I thought Myspace was bad and than came Facebook, I get that these would work for people in the industry for situations like this and bringing news, but seriously regular people who have these need to be slapped in the face. Nobody gives a shit wtf you are doing in your daily life, people who blog, videolog and anything else telling people you are eating cereal or taking a shower nobody gives a ****! But in Favreu's case his are actually telling something important so it's ok, everybody else? Shame on YOU!

I joined up exclusively to follow Favreau (mostly out of curiosity). He's been pretty interesting. I tried following Hugh Jackman back for the lead up to the premiere (since they were premiering it where I live) but he does like an update a week. I like the way Favreau does this. He used to blog with the fans while filming his earlier movies and he would answer most all the questions put forth. He seems pretty cool.

The great thing about twitter is that you choose who to follow. Don't think someone has anything to say? You don't need to follow them.

I'm just bothered by the fact that everybody thinks they are so important they start websites because they think everybody wants to hear there thoughts, who might be missing them on Myspace and Facebook already. America is already dumb enough and things like this aren't helping.

A highly underexpensed educational system has nothing to do with it. The responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of TWITTER!!!

I was referring to internet sites such as Myspace, facebook, and twitter. But of course rap also had a major impact on the mental underdevelopment of fans of Lil Wayne.........the new white trash.....rap fans

twitter is different in that you can have a more direct and immediate communication with people. Like email, which spammers abuse and people forward stupid office crap, twitter can be abused. That's the beauty of it though, you don't have to follow the people you don't care for. It's being shown that twitter isn't retaining people as well as MySpace and Facebook have after the first month. That's because the people not sticking around are mostly like the ones you despise. The only food conversations I've seen on twitter are when people go out and are meeting up at the last minute. Maybe someone cooks something and posts it but that's all I see.

These are 1,000's of ways to use twitter. It's the only media service that's been built without a direct purpose/model for advertising. Companies are using it to get directly in touch with their customers. The same thing has gone for stars and their fans. There's a lot of highly intelligent conversation happening, you just have to know which people to follow.

And lastly, it's an addition to social interaction, not a substitution for it.

i know people that do that

i made a joke one day and they said "LOL!!" and one other time "ROFL!"
i wanted to punch them...

i'm with you on the getting dumber part, its very true for 90% of the generation
i am shocked everyday the stupidity i see on a college campus

like the canadian girl in my class that doesn't know the metric system, told my professor (phD in history) that canada gave america alaska, and many more instances....

People are not getting dumber, they just don't think about the consequences of their actions. It's all the rage now a days "let me post all my personal info on the Net, credit cards, phone numbers, home address, bank accounts, share this with the entire planet, it's so cool could you die?" Then when they get shafted well let's blame society, the goverment, the Internet, the whole Universe but never their own stupidity. Society does not care, it's all about "me" now. I walk out of the house at 4 am to catch an express bus in other to get to my office at 6 am downtown. You should see how many cars at this time don't do stop or just past on red lights "what's the big deal, not hurting anyone am I?" That is the problem with society. A break down on morality, or acting like humans. Instead it's all about freedom and doing what I want because I got the right to do so but never asking the proper question. Yes you got a right to do something but does it mean you should actualy do it? And it's not all the young crowd. Believe me, the people running those red light in the morning are not all young, most are probably married with kids but they still don't care, it's all about the "important me" and the rest of the world should bow down to my wishes.

Its called, entitlement. I would say that the biggest offenders are young women, but there are a lot of young men that are weak, soft hand, whiners, that play the entitlement crap. But I would sya that young women are the worst, atleast a guy realizes that if he cuts in front of you in line he may get the crap smacked out of him, where most women live in the fantasy world of, "nothing bad can happen to me, I am cute" or they believe that they can yell at some guy in traffic and not have the snot slapped out of them/

Sounds like Favreau is having a blast..I wonder when he is going to produce Christopher Multisanti's script
