Next Gen Physical or Digital Upgrade Lists

I know it's a ways away but shouldn't you add GTAV to the list? I thought they confirmed that there is going to be a next gen patch. Did they not say it was free?

GTAV is not a free upgrade. GTA Online will be free for a limited time for PS+ members.

only the online. and I think there's a 90 days period to 'claim' the upgrade, but I could be wrong about that

Rainbow 6 Siege is getting a free next gen upgrade. Official Ubisoft account says 120fps at 4K.

For Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom for PS4, that game's hand drawn graphics already look amazing and can't look any better, so the higher resolution and frame rate increase might not be noticeable, but the faster loading will be a plus on PS5. Surprising to see that game on the list but a cool game with classic platforming RPG style even so.

that sounds good enough for me

Fast loading and quiet system are 2 of my top 3 improvements I want from the ps5 (the third is more 60fps games) better graphics is just the cherry on top

They have a sale right now for the DLC expansions. Got all 4 for $20 off.

After downloading all & updating game, it’s now 101GB.

So after this PS5 patch, I think with 4K/60 will add some Giggggssss to that.

Seeing as they specifically said "launch games" get free PS4 to PS5 upgrades; I'm wondering if they will try and sell us the upgraded Ghost of Tsushima, Last of Us 2, etc.

Note: the physical version will require the disc to play the upgrade, so will only work on ps5 disc edition. which most likely be the case for every physical upgrade

Right now, CDPR are 100% head and shoulders above the rest if that's true. Sony really screwed the pooch right now but that's honestly not going to blowback on them at all. I'm in the vocal minority and calling them out on their BS but i guarantee i won't be the only one soon. Tbh, i would play the crap out of Sony buying stuff on their international PSN stores if i bought Digital Only and game share with a family member over 2 consoles if you really want to take advantage of it.

That said, for those paying £70, just remember the times you could get a new disk game for £40

I believe I read where the main Spiderman game is getting upgrades as well.
