Now heres a movies I just love, "UHF" starring Weird Al. Well actually I hated it when I originally saw it the theater, but since then it has grown on me to be a cult favorite.

Anyone else want to this movie released in HD? Just imagine Wheel of Fish in 1080p. :-)

I was just thinking about UHF today, and am actually a little let down it hasn't hit BD yet. One of my favorite comedies, and I already own it on DVD.

Anyone know who owns the rights? I have no idea how to find that sorta stuff out.

MGM owns it, so it would be released by Fox on home video as per their arrangement. Right?

It's just been announced! UHF is being released November 2014! Weird Al just announced it at San Diego ComicCon! It's also going to be released alongside "The Compleat Al" which is more or less a documentary on the parody artist's life.

As a HUGE Weird Al fan, I am totally psyched!

Great news.

I bought the iTunes HD version of UHF a few weeks ago, but now it appears I'll be buying it in HD yet again this year.
