Default Mad Max 2/Road Warrior and Thunderdome without errors

Now please, world, listen up. We Mad Max fans NEED:

1- "Mad Max 2"/"The Road Warrior" on 4K with correct color timing.

2- "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" on 4K without telecine wobble and with the two deleted scenes restored in the movie.

Can we contact WARNER before they do the transfers?

Not sure about two deleted scenes, but we need the rest of Mad Max movies in 4K.

If Furiosa prequel survives and reaches theaters, good chance we will get the rest of them.

Mad Max 2 will be a good candidate for next year.

MAD MAX 2 - with the complete Pappagallo speech this time, Please.

Apart from the odd colours, the old BD did restore the original Australian title and the two censored shots from the Wez / Max confrontation (Wez, tugging the bolt from his arm) and the insert shot of the steel boomerang, buried in the Golden Youth’s forehead.

And, the BD does show more image info on all four sides.

How can I contact WARNER? I think we must "warn" them about all these aspects.

You mean Max, having a nightmare about his late wife, and waking up crying - and the other one - with the feral kid dying in his arms (from the Tina Turner music video)?

Yeah. Max awakening at "Crack in the Earth" after a nightmare.
The kid is GEKKO.

Two sequences.

Leave them out of the main feature, but include them as bonus material.

I’d really like to know if the original opening to MAD MAX 2’s chase sequence was filmed: Wez, and a group of gang members are looting and setting fire to a farmhouse (the farm owners have just been executed - hanging from a nearby tree), just as Max takes the rise in the road and sees them, alerting them to his presence, the chase would then continue onto the main road - as seen at the film’s beginning.

Don’t know if the above material was filmed or not - it does exist in the film’s script - but that’s no guarantee that it was filmed. I’ve never seen any production stills from the sequence.

I have seen images (screenshots taken from what appears to be a videotape quality source) of a deleted scene from the original MAD MAX - Max tending to his blown off kneecap at a creek.

It’d be great if these ‘lost scenes’ were made available after all this time.

It took a while, but eventually, even the ‘Burke Cocoon’ footage was released. So, there may still be hope.

If nothing does survive in the form of outtakes from the film, there’s always the alternate and unused shots and sequences from the television version of MAD MAX 2 (‘The Lost Cut’).

Vernon Wells confirmed that it was filmed.

He also said, if I remember correctly, that his character (Wez) had lost about twenty minutes worth of material from the final film, because he was making “too much of an impression”.

Or maybe, the footage sucked and Miller discarded it from the very first editing work.
I doubt it was 20 minutes anyway.

What’s interesting is, it may’ve been dialogue scenes. In the final film, Wez, can barely string a sentence together, mostly confined to single lines, screaming and cackling.

I would love to next year see this on 4K and see a Black and white version of the film which I think would work better than fury road did.

The azure sky, ochre coloured earth and green saltbushes look beautiful in colour.

Just give us a new audio commentary track and throw in the deleted scenes as bonus content. Thanks.

We also need Pappagallo's integral speech as part of the movie itself.

I heard from a source Mad Max 2 was going to get a 4K physical release in 2021.
