I agree with you, completely. You can see the films mature just as the cast has... great stuff.

I will say this because Yates is in charge of this one I'm a bit more optimistic than I would've been otherwise. Really hoping he can minimize the effect of the terrible second half of the book on this movie.

Just got to watch this trailer from home last night.... looks REALLY good, though having read the book (6), I think it gives a little too much away.

I wouldn't really say that. My wife has not read the book, and she made some assumptions from the trailer that match the book very well (assuming the film will follow the book)....
