Default Screens of my new Panny AE3000

Hey, it ain't much but i got this stuff a few years ago before i knew about this site, so now i am in the process of upgrading. T.V. is first thing to change out.

I am currently a college student living in a town house with 3 other buddies, and i have the basement for myself, so this is what i decided to do with it.

Let me know what ya think.

Update: So i didn't end up getting the new panny 58" 800u, but i decided to get a Panny AE3000. I haven't mounted it to the ceiling yet or started building my frame and wilsonart screen. At KOHL's (where i work) we were taking down graphics today, and i kept some to make a temp frame. It is 2.37 ratio and 130" diagonal.

Some new pictures of the quality, and it's still just on the temp frame. i am going to start building the frame and screen today.

You can kinda see me in this Eagle Eye picture.

There are more screen shots in my gallery.

The box of the mounting system they sent me was a bit rough looking. But hopefully it works good.

Unwrapping my projector, just a peek.

None of the pictures do it justice at all. Hope you enjoy

Default Great Start

You are off to a great start. I just got started on my media room last year and I had to share it with the kids toys. My wife has finally agreed we can move the toys out and start to make it more of a media room. Great pics by the way.

Great pics, I'm thinking of upgrading soon and its nice to see some pics with a point of reference so we can see just how huge the image is.

I'm considering the Sanyo PLV-Z3000. How do you rate the image on your new panny 3000???

Grevlin, the picture looks awesome surprisingly the blacks look really good everything looks so good. Really sharp and frame creation 2 makes it look like a lcd set, which i hate, cuz its just to fake looking, thats why i keep it on frame creation 1. Some regular dvds look ok but not near as good as i would like but when i watch them i just might have to zoom down some more than i would like to.

Yeah if i was just living off my kohls pay check i would prolly be homeless. lol. But i have another part time job, that i do every couple months. We go into boilers and hot spots at power plants when the temp is like from 300 degrees up to 1000 degrees with these astronaut suits on.
