Anyone have luck being able to bypass the Region coding screen for the Arrow UK release of "Pieces" using a Region A LG UBK90, Playstation 3 or Sony BDP-S590?

Thanks! I forgot about this one and picked up the Olive release a little while ago. It’s pretty good!

Special thanks for Patient-X for confirming certain releases.

Note: There might be more in the “Classics” and/or MoC line but I need people with discs (mostly late 2016 release-"High Noon") to confirm. Any release post-"High Noon" will not work. The LE releases of "High Noon" and "The Last Waltz" will also work.

Non-Eureka discs:

Note: Tested using the Steelbook release; presumably the CE disc will work as well. The extras disc will not load. Unknown if the standard 4K reissue was quietly fixed or if this release has the same disc as the CE/Steel.
The link in your sig states the Eureka titles would work on a PS3. How does that work? I usually get a wrong disc region message within the PS3 menu while the disc is initializing in regards to B-locked titles. I don't get so far as to see a message that is on the disc. In the past, I have only been able to do the menu trick on a standard player. Also, are there any other Eureka titles that are this way, or are these just the only ones you have checked? How did you compile a list of titles encoded by this guy? Again, by checking what you have or is there a resource available? There are so many Eureka titles, after all.

You press the disc menu function at the region mismatch screen. I've compiled most of them from owning the titles myself (I own a majority of the releases listed) or have asked others who did the encoding via booklets. The list isn't complete by any means as I haven't checked all of the 2017-"High Noon" releases.

Thanks. I notice in the Eureka thread that images of releases are added in order of release, and all of these pictured are concentrated around each other, though there are like 6 or 7 titles mixed in with them. Were those checked/not checked. If it can be said that from X month of some year to X month of some year, all releases work, that would be helpful as I was collecting this line initially, for the first five or so titles until some locked ones came along then after that I think I only got Silence of the Sea and Punishment Park... and mostly stopped paying attention.

It should work. I've yet to encounter an Arrow or Eureka disc that didn't work with the trick on a Panasonic.

I haven't bought too many Eureka titles in a while but I can confirm that "Hell and High Water", "House of Bamboo", "Cover Girl", and "A Man For All Seasons" do not work. I don't believe there's that many titles left. I have a hunch that "Cujo", "Death in the Garden", "Khartoum", and "Night of the Creeps" will work but I do not own any of them so I can't verify; there's also "The Blue Lagoon", "Picnic", and "Under Fire" but I'm not too sure about those like the earlier mentioned titles.

If you have a Panasonic player it should/will work with the top menu trick.

Does anyone know if Fixed Bayonets, The Man Who Could Cheat Death and Ganja & Hess play with the 'top menu' trick in a non-Panasonic player?

Changing the label, I'm also curious about Thieves Highway from Arrow.

Thanks.

None of them will work with the "top menu" trick on a non-Panasonic player.
