Why do that. Let the game makers make the story they want. Just cause what some fans want doesn’t mean other would want those people to pick for them.

B90, the team at The Coalition aren't going to double up on every single cutscene in Gears 6 that needs either Del or James Fenix, why would they make life difficult for themselves? The Coalition will have decided which direction the narrative is going, and which character in their canon survived.

Gears 5 is getting a new campaign expansion next week. It’ll be available at no extra cost for members of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, a $15-monthly subscription. Everyone else will have to pay up. It’s just one more perk suggesting a growing gulf between the entry-level and premium tiers of Microsoft’s games-on-demand service.

That sucks. I’ll check out videos and if it’s any good I’ll wait for a discount. I would have bought it day one if it expended the current story.

I don’t find cloaking to be useful and prefer hijack instead. I do like upgrading Jack when I can.

The section where I had to lower the bridge was frustrating. I did not know what exactly needed to be done and took awhile to figure it out.

I do like having 3 AI partners and Jack because it makes battles slightly easier.

Totally. GreatGreatGreatBAM and that's it? There was no final act; a rinse and repeat boss battle and mushy cut scene and the campaign is done? It felt like an entire Act was missing at least. Colour me unimpressed.

The Hivebusters DLC came out yesterday. I played 2 acts so far. Hopped on multiplayer and it looks like they added a boss from the DLC to Horde mode too.

I actually haven't played it yet, but maybe they were setting up for a Gears 6 kind of like how Gears of War 4 ended?
