Default Now available - Yamaha RX-V1800/3800 firmware update with DTS-HD MA fix!

Note: This has already been posted here but I felt it was important enough to merit its own thread.

Yamaha has posted the official USA firmware fix for the DTS-HD MA bitstream "pop" issue. I just tried it with The Fly (@ 13:00) and the dreaded pop is gone!

Doing the update right now. Thank you Yamaha!

Edit- Finished updating and everything is working perfectly. "The Fly" no longer has the pop.

I play content via a PlayStation 3, so fortunately never experienced the popping issue; I am, however, experiencing loads of HDMI-related problems. Does anyone know what bugs were fixed with this update?

Nothing HDMI-related, to my knowledge. Which of the receivers do you have?

There was another recent update that allowed the receivers to pass blacker-than-black signals, have you installed that one?

I have the '3800, and no, I haven't - I didn't realize any prior updates were released... I'll look it up, but if you have a link I'd greatly appreciate it!
