Clark should've taken both boys to the Fortress. It's both of their heritages regardless of powers.

If she doesn't want her boyfriend to go after the boys, then maybe Sarah needs to quit flirting with Jordan.

The only part of the plot that bothers me is
[Show spoiler]how a that military type comes to earth, because his multiverse earth got smacked by a Red Son type.

It's just nice for once to not have to see the same steps in nearly every city scene across the Arrowverse and they expect us to believe they're all different places. I get that they're all filmed in the same place, but do better with location scouting lol

Decent pilot, only real problem area was that terribly written & acted girl (Sarah?) who gave us the bad drama trifecta of small town meth labs, teen suicide attempts & having a roid rage boyfriend, all within about a minute of screen time. Like, thank you for that shockingly dark update, exposition girl.

Edit: also, nice avatar, Chedwiggen.
I hope not, that'd be a little cliche.

Sarah's the worst right now, and the whole "he's sweet to me" excuse for staying with a dick boyfriend is ridiculous. I guess that's what happens when your dad also seems like a dick.

I thought the same, way to pick favorites, Clark. He's taken Lois, why not take his kids who actually have ties to it?

I hope not, I really love the dynamic between the two and it's refreshing to see that brothers don't always have to be *******s to each other on TV. Sometimes brothers do love and support each other, no matter what.

Onto this week's episode, that's 2 for 2 now that I really liked. When I watched the Flash right after this I realize how immature and low quality that is compared to this. I hope this keeps up.

A line and scene taken directly from the excellent "SUPERMAN: FOR ALL SEASONS"

I dug this episode a little less than the first. It seems like the pacing is a bit off, so everything felt sort of rushed. It's almost like the airtime for the plentiful commercials is given priority over the editing of the episode, so some scenes have the feeling like they're almost on fast forward, but maybe that's the compromise to keep the action scenes looking better than most of the other Arrowverse shows. Still into it, looking forward to next week when a new director takes over and we'll see exactly how they handle it compared to the first director.

Calling Jor-El "Hologramps" had to be a nod to George Takei's character in Supah Ninjas -- a show my son used to watch.

There was a theory from a reviewer that maybe Jonathan and Jordan only exhibit powers when they are together.

One could be more latent than the other twin, the comics often show that.

While Jordon seems to have strength/optical abilities he can't seem to do anything on his own unless he is stressed or threatened.

Jon seems to be destined for speed and toughness because he likes playing football. We have yet to see a moment where he is really pushed. But the football team might get him upset enough to show his powers. That my guess.

The pessimist in me is waiting for this all to go wrong, because after two episodes this is the best live-action Superman content we've been served in more than a decade.

Also the first CW show that actually make me crave a 4K disc of it.

Only five episodes of S&L and then the old switcheroo to bait us into watching Supergirl. No thanks, I'll wait until May.

I think the hiatus sucks, though I do understand their reasoning for it. I'm just wondering how many people will still care about the show two months from now, when its prepared to start airing again. Fans of any property can be a very fickle bunch.

I kind of don't see why they didn't just wait until they had already finished filming or at least were closer to finally premiere. Get as many in the bag and then not worry about stopping.

I guess I need to start watching the previous 3 Supergirl seasons on BD... I had hoped I could put those off for a little longer

Why wouldnt they just wait to run the whole season at once? Have a hiatus like that seems like a horrible idea.

Well, presumably they're not done filming, or having previous issues wouldn't stop it from airing... right? What was the COVID issues? With filming or something to do with editing?
