Yes, I was wrong

, it is the MCU films that were filmed w/ IMAX cams and opened up for the whole film that are not available on disc that way. I’m super busy and sometime after this I looked it up. EDIT: what got me mixed up was the first Avengers film had a 1.85:1 ratio and was opened to 1.78:1 on BD

Why are the opening scenes (and I understand, closing scene) in 1.90:1 when they were shot in 1.43:1 IMAX? They should be 1.78:1 on Blu-ray, surely?

I don't recall any in Pan and i've seen that movie many times in 3D.

Yes it does, twice I think, one in the opening secuence and one in the climax. The movie is 1.85:1 but becomes 2.39:1 just for the frame breaks.

Outside of the animated series, the first Wonder Woman film is probably the best Wonder Woman on screen and is still one of the best DCEU films, it's a pity that the 3D is so weak. This film is an abominably awful steaming pile of misandrist garbage, but it does have nice 3D. Enjoy

Does anyone here know if the new Dune 3D Blu-ray will have the IMAX aspect ratio switching since all of the other copies will not have it?? I just want to make sure that I don’t double dip two copies with only the standard 2:39 ratio.

I quickly spinned the disc but I only found one "frame breaking effect" in the beginning. There's also (at least) one in the end? I couldn't find it...

Also, though not on here, the PIXAR logo on Blu-ray 3D is a little different than the 2D. Where in the 2D, the "camera" stays still, while in the 3D, the "camera" moves. I didn't know this was a thing until I watched Cars 2 on Blu-ray 3D.

Just watched Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 - 3D from Japan and it has a ton of aspect ratio changes throughout the whole movie. There were also at least two scenes that had frame breaking effects. There might have been more but I noticed it in two of the scenes. I can get the time stamps of those later (was watching it for the first time with the family). I was super excited to see aspect ratio changes but when I saw the frame breaking was I love 3D!
