Default Samsung LCD Movie Plus?

What does the movie plus function surposed to do exactly?. Ive found that if i have movie plus switched on a get a sort of blur around figures or objects when they move on screen. Yet when i turn it off it doesnt happen and the picture is so much better...so whats the point of it exactly?

Depends if you have your own picture settings how you want them. I have never used the movie feature for the same reason. But if you prefer to have low contrast then I notice it makes a difference. It does also help on normal DVD.

it's something to do with de-interlacing I think, just leave it off if you have a good source as you a) get a better picture and b) don't need it. If for example you are getting an interlaced signal (standard tv broadcast 480i or 576i depending if you are NTSC/PAL) then it may be worth having on otherwise just leave it off imo
