MGS4 Story Speculation - Blu-ray Forum

I want to hear and discuss what you guys think is going to happen in the final installment. who lives, who dies, and why you think this.

I don't think there is a chance in hell Snake is coming out of this one alive. Liquid Ocelot is going to have to go and I think it is going to be at that hands of Raiden. He is going to come back and be a total stud, finishing off Vamp too (kind of a little revenge for the whole Emma thing in MGS2). Snake is not going to die at the very end, but more like 75% of the way through, he is with Raiden in his final moments and tells Raiden to carry on and finish what he started (first 75% you are Snake, last 25% you are Raiden). Outer Heaven is releaveled as a dummy corporation for the 5 big PMCs, Philanthropy along with help from the Colonol completley disband it. I'm not sure what happens to the Patriots, but we will get to meet at least one of them, maybe not in person, but via nanotechonlogy or something.

I wonder how much fodder this game will have for the some of the youtube "Soldier Stupidity" videos I've seen.

If you're referring to how easy the game seemed during the gameplay demo, Hideo Kojima said that it was dumbed down for the demonstration. He said that the actual game will be much more difficult.

Not so much how easy the new one will be or the series itself. I just noticed that you can make some really funny things happen with the guards. Like giving them adult magazines, or hiding in a box, coming out dressed as the commander, and the guards salute.

Big Boss will be still Alive...

Almost every main Character will die,
and the MGS Story will continue with Raiden

( even if Kojima say´s that there won´t be another MG...)

This is going to be a huge Final, with a little openning End...

otherwise, it would be great if all questions were answered and complete all with a quadrologie ...

My predictions:

Eva is a Patriot.

Raiden will die before snake.

Olga gurlukavich's(sp?) child will be found.

Snake will drop dead from cancer while smoking a cig to see infrared beams.

Ocelot will chop off his hand, and him and Liquid will have an Ash vs. Hand scene.

Meryl will get another Foxhound tatoo on her ass.

Otacon will find a girlfriend.

Metal Gear Mk. II will be the final boss.(Speaking of MG Mk. II, anyone remeber Snatcher?)

I have no idea what will happen in this last game, but I do know Kojima-san is a mastermind story teller, and that this will be one of the greatest games of all time.

Raiden - Dies in duel with Vamp
Vamp - see above
Liquid Ocelot - Taken out by FOX HOUND
Olga's baby - Taken by Rose and raised to be the next Raiden
Meryl - Dies while trying to protect snake
Otacon - Finally becomes one bad @$$ mutha F*%$A!!!

It is Kojima though so you never know what the hell will happen! For all we know Snake could go back in time at the end of the game (god I hope not).

I have only played MGS 1 and 2. I didnt like 3. But from what I can speculate.......
Old Snake = Big Boss
Young Snake = Solid Snake.
It would make much more sense than the "Cellular Degeneration" theory. Konami is just pulling you people's around.

Well i wanted the stealth camo in MGS1, so meryl is already dead in my book

so you think big boss is still alive too? i know it contradicts the OP of this thread, but i made another thread not so long ago, where i theorized that you play the whole game as Big Boss thinking it is Solid Snake and then at the end the whole thing is revealed to you.

Solid Snake has to sacrifice himself in order to kill Liquid. After hearing the news, Raiden's tears blur his vision and he's killed by Vamp because he can't see clearly.

Everybody else dies from a nuclear explosion... The only survivor is the yellow duck alarm clock.

anybody make a tie between The Patriots and The Illuminati.

From what we know The Patriots are very like The Illuminati in what they do. The Illuminati is supposedly 13 bloodlines, while there are 12 members of The Patriots. We know that Big Boss was at least offered a spot with The Patriots, but what if Big Boss rejected the invitation. So the Snake bloodline is part of The Illuminati bloodline, however the Snake bloodline is the only one to reject being a part of The Patriots. However, Big Boss created his dream Outer Heaven, with The Legacy, so while his bloodline only makes up 1/13 of the Illuminati, his money and power makes up something that equals The Patriots power and money, maybe MGS IV is all about how the Snake bloodline rejected where The Illuminati went (they became the Patriots) and they are fighting to control the entire world.

Big Boss is good, Solid Snake is good, Liquid Ocelot is an evil Patriot.
