Arrow Major TV Finale Cop Outs (Spoilers)

Finale Spoilers Ahead

As sweeps comes to a close and the various finales have ended I can't help but feel like we got seriously screwed this year. I still have Smallville and Supernatural to watch so hopefully they don't let me down, but just based on the finales of House and Bones alone, I am asking WTF? They both took almost the exact same finale route in the same week. Certain events where shared all over the net for months hyping two specific events between partners/co-workers on these shows that fans have been waiting a minimum of 4 years for and when it comes time to deliver on these promises both chose to cop out in the finales. Anybody else feel cheated by the way your favorite shows have been ending this year??

Fringe didn't have too bad a finale. Several interesting 'revelations'.

Fringe's finale was excellent. That's the kind of finale you want in a show like that too. It'll leave you guessing all Summer long. The CSI NY finale had a WTF just happened moment, but CSI (Vegas) had a lackluster one.

I absolutely loved that Lost finale because it had a little of everything going on. Can't wait for next season!

Numbers looks like it will have another excellent ending, so I can't wait to watch it later.

I'm wondering what's up with the King of the Hill season (possibly series) finale.

That was a Hannity/Coulter/O'Reilly anti-Canada tirade.

Well, there are another 8 or so episodes of the show left, but who knows if they'll ever air them. I bet not, unless they find themselves with an unexpected open slot left by some failed series.

As for disappointing finales this year, I gotta say I was pretty much satisfied across the board with the shows I watch. Lost and Supernatural in particular had great endings that'll keep the viewers guessing all through the break. The only ending that has me pissed is Terminator's, but that has nothing to do with the episode itself. It was a great SEASON finale with a great cliffhanger. Unfortunately, the show's now canceled leaving us with no resolution.

Oh, and 24 is still up in the air. I'll know tonight how satisfying that ending is.

What happened in King of the Hill?

And don't worry, it won't ruin anything.

I know, what's up with that? Except Lost, Chuck, and Supernatural everything else was just a little dissappointing.

The Office season finale was lame, nothing to keep you in suspense until next season. I couldn't believe it was only a half-hour long, too.

I thought the finales for the Sunday Animation block on Fox were rather lame. King of the Hill ended with a whimper and Simpsons was just stupid. Didn't care for Family Guy or American Dad either, although Family Guy did poke fun at those annoying show promos that appear during shows.

Boomhower goes to Canada for the Summer, swapping houses with a Canadian family. The Canadian guy right away becomes a jerk, putting down everything American and butting heads with Hank and crew. Tensions rise, which lead to some usual wackiness and dumb situations.

Meanwhile Boomhower is having the time of his life with a Canadian woman and ends up bringing her back home with him.

Don't wanna reveal too much, but I expected much better.

You can add CSI (Las Vegas) to that list as it was just like watching a regular episode.

CSI NY's finale was way more riveting than the Vegas one. But I gotta say, CSI NY has been doing excellent finales for a long while.

Chuck, Lost, and Supernatural were good.

Lie to Me was ok, but the way they handle terrorism on television is so predictable now there's really no point. 24's pretty much the same way.

Dollhouse and Smallville were letdowns, Bones was absolutely awful. House way over dramatized in previews (just like ER was) so it wasn't a letdown since I saw it coming.
