OK.
I have been looking for a new tv. 42" isn't cutting it so I think I want a 60"(even though it might be a bit big for my room)... Anyways... I think I want a Pioneer and I thought I understood I wanted a 151FD but now I notice 600M or something like that. What are all these numbers? Which is the BEST Plasma from Pioneer in the 50" and 60" sizes? |

I know Sonny will chime in soon, but I'll take a shot at it.
101/141 (50"/60") Signature series is the best (and most expensive) 111/151 Elite series 5020/6020 Non-Elite series KRP-500M/600m are limited productions series that are a mix of the Signature series and the non-elite series. They fall somewhere between the Signatures and the Non-Elites, depending on who you talk to. Last edited by scweb13; 05-19-2009 at 05:30 PM. Reason: spelling |

Some are still available.
Monitor Outlet You could also call HiFi Heaven, Value Electronics or Invision Displays to see if they still have or are getting more. |

Take a look at my system and the tuner I chose. May save you some research time (HT gallery link)

I am really tempted.
The TV I have now is only a year and a half old. It does an ok job but I can tell I am missing some of the great image that Blu's offer. I think if my tv was a 50" then I would wait but that 8" is a huge difference. The other concern to me though is I might be better off with the 60" but honestly the room I have it in just isn't big enough for that. I will think about it over the next few days. The other consideration is the 111FD. It is only about $120 more and I get the stand and tuner. Does anyone have a reason not to go with the 111FD, if I can get the 101FD? |
