Default Verizon Unlimited

I'm switching to a Verizon Wireless Unlimited plan next month, and I should get the Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ bundle included free.

I already have a Hulu and Disney+ account. Can I use these same accounts, or do I need to create new ones?

You should be able to use the same accounts already existing. It’s really just about connecting the accounts to the VZ deal. I was able to use my existing Hulu/D+ accounts. Also, the Hulu part that is free is the “with ads” tier, if you want the tier without ads, you can pay the difference since it VZ deal gives a credit onto your account. Though follow the steps in the faqs tab about the offer on Verizon or Hulu page to set that up correctly.

You can use the same accounts, I have the same thing with my verizon unlimited and I pay like 6.00 extra a month for the no ads version. They even just added free amc + for a year and you also can also get free discovery + for a year as well pretty cool for going on their unlimited data plan.

I'm switching over the Unlimited Plan on the 8-9, but my Hulu/D+ subscription renews on the 17/19. I assume I cancel the Apple subscriptions a few days prior and then wait until Disney+ subscription expires on the 19th, and then get the bundle?

I thought about switching to Verizon from T-Mobile but Verizon is just too high. I'm not going to pay close to $75.00-$80.00 a month for one service plan, and I don't need nor want Hulu, Disney+ or any other streaming services they're offering because, most people already have those services anyway, so they're not really perks.

VZW has the best most reliable signal in my area, so they're what most people have here. AT&T and T-Mobile have made strides, but VZW is still the best.

I have the family plan with multiple people, like my Mom, etc., so T-Mobile offers me no better deal than what I can get with Verizon's Unlimited Plans. I'm pretty happy with my current VZW plan, but if I get the iPhone 13 next month, I'll have to pay an additional $10 per upgraded line, or switch to Unlimited. Since Unlimited includes Hulu/Disney+, I'll save $20 per month by taking advantage of that particular freebie. I may eventually add back ad-free Hulu, but in the meantime, it'll help pay the upgrade fee for my phone.

Those streaming offers are only promotional. When the promotion period expires, you will have to pay their regular price if you don't cancel the streaming services. If you always wanted those streaming services, you could've subscribed to them a long time ago without Verizon.

Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ is included with the Play More and Get More plans. Have been for over a year now. It could disappear later, but for now, it's indefinite, not just a promotional period like Discovery+ or AMC+.

I have subscribed to Hulu for years, and Disney+ since it launched.

I decided to get the Ads plan for a while, and then move back to Ads-Free later, but the ads have increased since the last time I had the Ads plan, so decided to jump back to the Ads-Free plan, and I have been on the phone with VZW and Hulu both over the last several days trying to get things done correctly, and I'm not sure it's done correctly.

Verizon and Hulu both told me it was okay to subscribe to Hulu via Apple, but then I don't understand how that works. Apple already charged me $11.99. Does Verizon discount my monthly VZW bill the difference? Will my Hulu bill next month be lower?

When I set it up I subscribed to the bundle through Verizon and added the no ads plan through Hulu I was only charged the 5.99 through Hulu and not Verizon because the bundle was free when I added it with Verizon Unlimited add on online through their site. You have to add the bundle as an add on through Verizon Unlimted account in order to get the bundle free then try and add the no ads option through Apple and I think that should only charge you for the no ads 5.99 by Apple. I have never tried it with Apple though I'm just guessing it should work the same way as Hulu does.

There was no option to add the No-Ads plan via Hulu while on the VZW/Disney bundle. I was told I would have to remove the VZW bundle, then subscribe to Hulu Ad-Free seperately, then re-add the Disney bundle back. I did that, but ran into trouble.

Verizon said I needed to contact Hulu. Hulu said I should be good, but couldn't give me details on how things will be discounted.

Oh yeah, the Verizon website said I would get amc+ trial within a week of purchase of new phone. I got three new phones on the account, but still haven't received a code for it yet. I was told I would probably get it after the 30 day return window has closed, even though that's not what the Verizon FAQ page says.

Is the email address for Hulu via Apple the same as the Disney bundle via Verizon? It should be as you re add the Disney bundle on Verizon, it should have a step for Hulu. This step is when you enter you credentials used to login into Hulu via Apple. Then you’ll get a credit covering whatever the cost is for ad plan tier. Does it not a ‘get if now’ icon that takes to another page to start the process?

My Hulu and VZW accounts both have the same e-mail.

When I re-add the Disney bundle from Verizon, I activate my Disney+ account, and then it tells me to activate my Hulu and ESPN+ accounts.

Previously, when I set up Hulu (with ads) from the Disney+/Verizon bundle setup, signing into my Hulu account gave me a notification that I was set up. After signing up for the ad-free version, going to activate my Hulu account from the Disney bundle (or from Disney+ settings) asks me to log-in. I log-in, and it takes me to a mostly blank page other than a Hulu logo on the top left, etc.

Apple already charged me $11.99 for the ad-free version. The second person I spoke to from VZW said signing up via Apple was fine, and the Hulu representative seemed to think it was okay, and that Verizon would credit my Verizon bill.

I have been dealing with Customer Service reps from Verizon, Apple, Hulu, HBO Max, credit card companies, etc. the last few weeks about one issue or another... I've probably spent over 24 hours on the phone or via chat/DMs with Verizon alone in the last month, and I'm exhausted of it all.

Does it allow you redo/continue the process on Verizon add on page? It sounds like it didn’t complete the process.

I can go to the Verizon add-on page, remove the Disney bundle, and repeat the process over again. It does the same thing. I can activate Disney+ and ESPN+ fine. I log-into my Hulu account from the Disney+ site, the same way I do ESPN+ and the same way I originally signed up for the ads version, and I get a mostly blank screen telling me nothing.

Nobody at Verizon or Hulu, nice though they may be, has really instilled me with confidence that I'm being told accurate information, especially given the majority of my customer service experiences lately (see here for another example).

1. First we need to login to hulu preferably same email address and purchase ad free plan.
2. Activate the bundle offer from Verizon and activate disney plus, espn and also hulu.
3. Now the subscription with hulu that we made in step 1 will be put on hold till we opt out from verizon.
4. Now we can enjoy hulu ad free for 6$ per month.

If you already activate verizon bundle first, then you have to opt out and follow the above steps. You can contact apple/hulu customer care about the mkney you already paid or for any othersupport.
