Dell has many of their machines available with Blu-ray drives:

Inspiron 1420 (14.1")
Inspiron 1520 (15.4")
Inspiron 1720 (17")
XPS M1710 (17")
XPS M2010 (20.1")
Precision Workstation M90 (17")

I believe they all use the Panasonic UJ-210 BD burner (1x BD burning only), though hopefully they are starting to phase in the UJ-225 drive (2x BD burning).

All the new ones now are 2x burners now. I just ordered the 1420 fully loaded with the Blu burners for a sweet $1K with coupon discounts.

First movie to convert over to Blu will be Transformers

Default Be careful

You need to be careful. Don't just look for a drive, look for the player software that ships with the laptop. If the player software is CyberLink Power DVD Ultra you will find there are MANY, MANY, MANY blu-ray titles you will not be able to play. Get a laptop with the blu-ray WinDVD.

Just curious, what titles would those be? I am using PowerDVD Ultra and haven't had any problems with ~100 or so discs.

All discs work fine, but you should know your PC well, I've found that you've gotta make alot of tweaks here and there for the films to work properly for whatever reason.
