When I spoke to the CSR prior to my op she said they received the new shipment today and they should ship after the holiday. (tuesday)

from what i hear, come october they won't have anymore to send, anywhere. when its done there is a rumor of another price drop, for the 80gig

This link has nothing to do with the 80gb model just the fact that sony has more 60gb ps3 in stock.

So, who cares whether or not Sonystyle.com has them in stock? Go to any Best Buy location or Bestbuy.com, they still have plenty of 60GB ones in stock.

Because you can get a 60GB for $349 after $150 rebate there. By the way, the $150 rebate offer also applies to other Blu-ray players (including the 80GB PS3) bought at the Sonystyle site for those who'd prefer that.

For your info it's not a rebate. It is a credit card "credit". And you really have to have good credit in order to get approved for a Sony credit card. Not to mention the finance charges that accrue on it if you don't pay it off on time.

I'm not spinning anything. This is a forum last I checked, anyone is entitled to their opinion. FYI, I have plenty of credit cards, so I don't need a new one. By the way, it's obvious that you're the one still living with mommy, so don't you think it's time to move out already?

I got the credit ok in two minutes , had to wait a while till they received the next shipment but I received a e-mail last night that it had been shipped !
Hey for $349. how can you go wrong ?
I noticed it was backordered again now. Must be a lot of people getting the card and taking advantage of the deal .

Either way it is great for our format. BLU RAY !
