Any word on prison break season 2 yet?

I wonder if anyone has heard anything about prison break season 2 on blu-ray.

I watched season 1 on blu and totally liked the show. Bought season 3 in advance, but now I'm stuck since there is no season 2. I did some searching, but the latest topics mentioning prison break season 2 are all over a year old.

Has everybody forgotten about this or stopped caring?

I love that show. Was a bit saddened by the very end, but all in all, a compelling series with excellent character development and great action and plots. Season 2 on Blu-ray, and then a complete series set including "The Final Break" would be likely next to come out.

I really hope so. Season 1 and 3 have been out on blu for quite some time now. Season 4 has been recently announced to be released on DVD but not on Blu-ray. Season 2 is absolutely nowhere in sight.

Yes, Prison Break: The Final Break [Blu-Ray] as mentioned earlier will be released on July 21, but Season 2 and 4 haven't been mentioned. I've emailed Fox and get the same response - no plans for them to be released on Blu-Ray. I just don't think there is enough interest, and if sales are low for "The Final Break" then they are probably less likely to release 2 and 4 on Blu.

I've heard different things. I was in the same boat as you. Picked up S.1 on blu as a blind buy and was trying to figure out where season 2 was. I rented it from my local libary so try giving that a shot. The rumor is that the show did poorly with dvd/blu-ray sales. So that's why we're not getting 4 on blu-ray. The odd thing is we are getting The final break...so who knows.

You mean you actually rented Prison break season 2 on Blu-ray from your local library? That seems odd, as I can't find any evidence that it actually ever was released on blu. It's certainly not on the shelves of my local library

The odd thing is we are getting The final break...so who knows.

Thinking of it, there seems to be a certain chronological pattern:

Season 1 - Available on Blu-ray
Season 2 - Not available on Blu-ray (at least not generally)
Season 3 - Available on Blu-ray
Season 4 - Not available on Blu-ray
Final break- Available on Blu-ray

Is it just me or is someone playing some awkward game with their customers here?

My bad...I had initially planned to buy the entire series on blu-ray. After finding out the S.2 WAS NOT available on blu, I went to my library and rented the DVD version. Sorry about the confusion.
