I read that the Pierrot storybook actually came before Finding Nemo. The author tried to sue.

"Alien Rising"

"CE4"

"Alien X"

There are so many movies like this named after popular movies in Japan it's amazing. Funny thing is, the original English titles are usually different, it's the Japanese marketers that changed the title and rip off popular things.

Here's a couple of others, all for terminator (terminator 2018 and terminator V, before 4 came out!)

The only films I own that are from The Asylum are One Take, War of the Worlds, Lady in the Box, & I Am Omega. I Am Omega was on par with I Am Legend. Mark Decascos is badass.

I thought I read somewhere that the Asylum was going to do blu-ray releases?

No. No. No. Its not. Saw some of it on the Sci-Fi channel. It's pretty awful. The "Hunter" looked pretty ridiculous. Unless you mean the awfulness is what makes it more entertaining than the real films.

Yes, this happens quite a lot in Japan and apparently, it works as many a Japanese customer (who isn't good at English) gets tricked ... mostly tricked into a rental. I can't count the number of times I've seen such movies on display in rental stores in Japan. For every original, there are three nock offs on rental.

Does anyone know what those supposed Terminator films are? I'm guessing the 2018 film is Rottwiler. Since that's the only film I know of with a robot dog.

One of the links above show that Transmorphers: Fall of Man is their first Blu-Ray release.

If these are real films, and from what I have read, they are, have they changed them enough not to get a law suit. I cannot believe Pixar would allow the first one without sueing somebody.

Yeah, this are a cheap grab for money. However I do remember hearing that the one ripping of 1000BC was in fact better then 1000BC (though it was still bad).

Apparently, parodies are protected, even though I am sure these rip offs are meant to be serious. Plus, I believe all of these are s***ty Brazilian knock offs due to how poor they look in terms of animation. The only time The Asylum got a lawsuit was for The Day the Earth Stopped and they actually won that case. Because The Asylum changes most of the story despite the plot line being similar in some aspects.
