Everybody's Golf - August 29, 2017

Has anyone received the actual preorder DLC from BestBuy? So far I've received 3 full versions of the game.

Edit: I sent the customer service guy my info 2 hours ago and just got an email with my preorder DLC. I'm really impressed with their turn around time. For those that still don't have the DLC I followed the info on the link below to send a private msg.

I saw this online:

What you have to do is connect the second controller before you start, then scroll up with the d-pad on the primary controller to the imagine of the second controller (the light bar color will change) and you can choose that way. Hope that helps.

Don't have the game yet, so not sure if it works or not.

That worked. I just played a round with two controllers. It's so much easier when you have 4 people playing.

I was hoping I could have 2 players one for me and one for the wife. So after playing on my account and getting to rank 3, I started a new game for the wife. Thinking we could select which player we wanted to start the game with. Well the new game overwrites the previous player so my level 3 golfer is no more. Hopefully they can batch that at some point.

Every time I try to connect to the open online course, my PS4 seems to hang up, and I have to relaunch the game. Is this an issue, or does it just take several minutes to connect?

Haven't had that problem.

It's kinda messed up sometimes. When I did get on, I was playing a 9 hole match, and on hole six, it just put me in the fairway in free-roam inexplicably. Would not let me continue the match without restarting.

More often than not it happens to me .Clock stops course will not load

Yes all those 8 characters share the same base settings. I want to be able to switch to a new game so my wife has her own. If you do a new game it wipes out all your existing characters and you start from being level 0.

these unofficial tourneys are killing me .. another great chip in eagle and home in one but no video to show ... I'm almost to rank 3 in tourneys do the unofficial ones ever stop ??

I thought there was usually an option for an official, or unofficial, for each round of the single player mode.

Thanks. That's the great thing about games with offline single player options. They can still be enjoyed years after the servers shut down for multiplayer. You actually feel like you own the game and it's not a rental with an expiration date.

As far as Everybody's Golf, I believe they made a PSVR version with a broken controls demo that unfortunately dissuaded me from buying that game. Just trying to hit the ball on the first course of the demo is impossible after trying every button. The driving range works, but maybe that's their intention of the demo. They should just lock out the course option then.
