Update: Someone reached out to Diabolik and were told the 4K release was scrapped by Lionsgate. It's possible this could indicate plans for A24 to do their own 4K release at their store.

The Blu-ray is releasing on May 24th, so it's a little strange to see this listing up for June 7th, so hopefully it is accurate. I would have thought a 4K would come directly from A24 since it wasn't coming out the same time as the BD and DVD releases.

Not really a big deal, IMO. Sure, it won’t be big special edition, but Lionsgate does nice 4K discs.

A month after release is kind of hyperbole, but by next Black Friday, 8 to 10 bucks easy. Then they'll stay cheap as long as it stays in print is the pattern I see.

Generally, yep. Picked up The Green Knight 4K for $9.99 on November 15th of last year, and it released on October 12th. Paid $9.99 for Total Recall 4K on December 22nd of 2020, it released on December 8th. Paid $7.99 for Uncut Gems on April 21st, it released on March 10th.

The list goes on and on. It's why I never pre-order any A24/Lionsgate titles. There's simply no sense to it. Even if one wants the slips, these discounts happen well within the first to second batch of pressings.
