Default I, The Jury 4K UHD + 3D (1953) coming from ClassicFlix

I, the Jury 4K + 3D Blu-ray

Quote:
I think now is a very good time to chime in to confirm that we have licensed I, THE JURY (1953) for home video and will be releasing it later this year. It will be our first 4K release and our first 3-D release.

In regards to the 3-D presentation, the stereoscopic alignment/restoration will be will be performed by the 3-D Film Archive and will be exclusive to our release.

Nothing more on the release at this time, but details to follow in the coming months.

Can't say I'm all that familiar with ClassicFlix, but I wish them the best of luck in joining the UHD game. Here's hoping Eureka! will join in soon. Any day now...

If you were not at the TCMFF this weekend, let me assure you that the restoration of JURY is nothing short of breathtaking. Alton in 4K will blow your mind.

Very excited for this! Any news on the audio? Was it originally released in stereo?

That's a shame. I was extremely impressed with the stereo restoration on Dynasty.

Robert Furmanek deleted all his posts in this thread. Very worried now that the 3D version of this is cancelled if the 4k is still in the works.

This release is still happening, just without the 3DFA. See the discussion over the "Golden Age 3-D" thread.
