Yep, they just announced it. However, no word on a HD DVD release just yet. Hopefully my fellow Canuck, James Cameron pulled a Spielberg on them.

Well atleast it hasn't got announced for HD-DVD. BTW Fox owns the distrubtion rights to this oversees so will more than likely be getting this movie one way or another when it is released in HD.

I am going to go ahead and guess they need Cameron's permission to do the HD-DVD. If he's like Spielberg, he may just go "yeah that's not gonna happen".

I liked him in Dead Calm, Sniper and Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight as well.

I think while it would be good for BD to have this release, it will not be on my list. I've seen better love stories in b rate films. Besides, Decrappio is the one that can't act. Although, I would love to see the best part of the film on BD, the sinking of the ship...

Obviously you've never seen The Departed, Marvin's Room, What's Eating Guilbert Grape, Blood Diamond, The Aviator, Gangs of New York.... But I do think he was way wrong for the part. We're talking about a homeless bum here, not a pretty boy. I actually think Jaoquin Phoenix might've been good for the part...
