Stand By Me. Included in a 3-pack drama release!!!? - Blu-ray Forum

At least this movie (a favourite of mine) will see the light of day, the strange thing is that i don´t see any single release for this movie so far..well well...any of you guys heard anything?

This is a Swedish release arriving the 26th of August.

VERY interesting.

I'm betting there will be an individual release around that time.

I'm hoping the Superbit-exclusive 5.1 mix is included.

I hoping for the stand alone copy too. Hope they do this great movie justice with the blu transfer.

In the UK Almost famous is already released and so is Big Fish. So its seems likely SBM will be released individually at some point.

I've never seen a 3 pack blu-ray before, does this mean it's unlikely to be 1080p?

why would it mean it's unlikely to be 1080p? it's just three movies packaged together.

It seems that we Stand By Me fans who are waiting for a dedicated release might be lucky: Play.com has it listed now, but just as 'coming soon'.

I'm eagerly awaiting this Blu-ray. Hopefully the film will get the release it deserves.

He might be thinking it means 3 movies on 1 blu-ray disc which might not have enough room for full 1080p perhaps.

The pic I got is from the original release date of 8/27. I'm betting SBM was replaced.

I'll be very happy if it wasn't but...I'm not having much faith.
