Canada Can anyone confirm if Saw VI will have the first Saw included in the Canadian release

Can anyone confirm if Saw VI will have the first Saw included in the Canadian release?

I know in the States that the Blu release will have both Saw VI and Saw in the same package. I can't find any info for the Canadian release though.

Further Details:
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($26.95), and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Saw VI for the 26th January. Each will include the first original SAW feature film so viewers can see "where it all began." All three versions also contain fabulously frightening bonus materials including three featurettes that take a look at Jigsaw, the traps and an exclusive look at the Halloween Horror Nights SAW Maze plus music videos. In addition, the DVD and Blu-ray Disc feature two separate audio commentaries with the executive producers and the screenwriters of the film. We'll bring you further details as we get them.

I guess you'll find out this Tuesday...
I have the U.S. edition since I got it on Thursday (I got it early) and the first SAW was remastered. Still doesn't look that great, but it DOES look better than it did. I'm not sure if it's included in the Canadian release, though. I believe the North American one is locked Region A since it doesn't say multiregions on the back of my cover. Why not just buy the U.S. edition from the internet???

I work for a video store and our Saw VI copies didn't have the bonus Saw Blu-ray in them so I not too sure if Canadian will get it

My only thought is that we got rental editons but our covers didn't say they were.

I just came back from Wal-Mart and they are selling two copies of Saw VI, the theatrical version and the uncut version. They were $29.xx each... And it doesn't include the first Saw blu-ray copy like in the US.

I guess I'll be ordering from Amazon.com

While I haven't seen a Theatrical version of the film at FutureShop, I can confirm that the Saw VI: Unrated Version only contains 1 disc.

Sucks, but at least I already have Saw I.

On another note, is the SAW 1 disc 100% identical to the original release?

From a previous post, the Saw 1 disc is remastered.

Though it's mentioned that it is still the Unrated Cut, and still only has DTS-ES 6.1 and Dolby Digital EX 5.1

... and yes, despite the cover not saying Unrated edition, the run-time of the original release of Saw I is, infact, the Unrated Director's Cut

In Canada, what's the difference between Saw VI: Uncut Edition and Saw VI: Unrated Director's Cut?

I saw the "Decadence" french DVD at a Walmart in Moncton, NB yesterday and from what I recall it was wide-screen and the theatrical cut as per notes on the box. Whether or not the blu-ray is french it's very possible.

In my own hometown today I saw the SAW VI Uncut and SAW VI "Decadence" dvd's and blu's. Both the Uncut DVD and Blu are 92 mins, which is the Uncut version legnth. Both the "Decadence" DVD and Blu are 91 mins, which is supposed to be the Theatrical cut legnth. The DVD normally says "theatrical" on it somewhere, but I couldn't see theatrical anywhere on the blu-ray, but chances are it's also the theatrical cut. The moral of the story is it seems "maybe" the French dvd and blu's are all theatrical.

Are these both Canadian releases, because I didn't think you could actually release an 'unrated' edition in Canada as all home video releases also have to be rated.

I know they had to do this with Blade 3 for example. Unrated edition in the States, Extreme Edition up here. Same version, but was submitted for a rating in Canada.
