One of the devs tweeted a response to someone having a hard time with the missions that they were "looking into the difficulty." Perhaps they will add CPs or reduce the brutality. If they added more colas throughout the missions that would also make it easier.

I'm having crazy fun with this,especially at the endgame phase when all hell breaks loose.
I would love a real single-player game,but as gore drenched insanity is concerned,,this will he hard to top.

I'd probably buy a lot of them again and if I couldn't locate physical I would buy digital, and some I might not buy because I probably wouldn't play them again. So in the end I'd probably end up in the same place as you, lol.

I got my CE on release date but sadly have no time to play right now. I'll probably wait until the first patch, maybe they'll do something about the difficulty with the single player missions. My time's too limited to have fun failing for hours.

I like that I'm hearing good things about it though. It might not be the type of ED game we wanted but it still sounds good.

Online can be fun when AI teammates are helping and reliable. Other times, when in competition, there are often overpowered human AI enemies to contend with, that can wipe the player out instantly; Snipers in Battlefront prevented me from even walking on the map a few yards before getting wiped out every time I got in their zone near the giant sand crawler. They were camping on top. Not fun at all playing online in that situation.

For Offline games, there's a bit more freedom to adjust the difficulty level to something more reasonable, depending on the gamer's preference. Less chance of super overpowered enemies, and more chance to explore the map.

Though with the difficulty level here, hopefully they adjust it soon from what I hear.
