It's been on sale twice for $29.99 at futureshop last year so it'll probably drop again to that again. I'm personally sticking with the dvd but then again I decided against optical upgrades in general anyway (dvd -> blu).

I dont know why you people are having trouble finding it on DVD. I see it all over here in KC. 2 Vintage stock's by me have both DVD and Blu-ray. I saw it at a Wal-Mart by me. I saw it my local Blockbuster, I saw it at FYE. Is it really that hard to find?

Problem is not in finding. Problem is that it is locked to region 1 in North America and to region 2 in Europe, and it was never released in other regions. The same thing is with Blu-ray release. I personally have a region 5 DVD and region C Blu-ray player, so the only option left for me is pirate copies. If it wasn't region locked, I would just buy it at Amazon. Region coding leads to piracy, I tell you.

I'm in the same situation.
I'd love to buy the series in Blu Ray but the problem is, the Region 2 version has no French subtitles! They have French audio track but I don't care, I don't watch movies in French.
Same thing about the US version.
So for now I must do with my dvdrips.

Probably for the price to go down, maybe? I mean, right now it's $16.99. I heard it was down to $12.99 at one time. But, then again, this is over a decade ago...

When is that supposed to happen? DVDs are out-selling everything. The future sucks.
