Holy crap Orndorf gave it a 10. The trailer really didn't do much for me but seeing someone as picky as he love it definitely has my curiosity piqued.

The 10/10 is encouraging but I'm not going to read Orndorf's review, as I don't want to hear/see anything more before catching it this weekend.

one of the best, most original movies I have seen in a long time.

Can't even explain what this movie is, but it was damn near perfect for me.

It is the darkest of dark comedies, with legitimate laugh out loud moments.

I was shocked to see the 10/10 review. The trailer didn't do much for me, but I'll probably be checking this out this weekend now.

Keep in mind this is the same critic who gave the enjoyable-but-forgettable Spider-Man: Far From Home a 10/10 and the abysmal Halloween Kills a 6/10.

I wasn't aware HBO still did their "First Look" featurettes. I used to watch them all of the time in the '90s. Cool.

That's weird, because the long form trailer I saw was really pushing The Most Dangerous Game, lots of "look at the out of touch rich people who paid to get themselves locked into a bougie hipster a resort and hunted + tortured by a cooking reality show-ish chef"

There's no hunting. Just that one scene that's in the trailer, but even then, when in context, there's no hunting involved.
