Does anyone know if Cameron and Speilberg are friends? Maybe Steve will enlighten Cameron a tiny bit? I would love to have this movie in Blu. The HD previews on the XboX were pretty decent so i know a full blown avc encode with pcm would rock.

Believe me, James Cameron does not need Spielberg to enlighten him. He's always up to date and beyond on the latest technology.

In fact, nobody involved with his new movie, 'Avatar' is allowed to discuss what cameras are being used.

Oh, I've seen his other "works", he just doesn't instill a lot of talent in his rolls. Some like him, some don't.

The hand double scene I believe took place in the car that was all fogged up after Leo and Kate did the wild thing. In that same scene he sketches her out on a paper. That's when they needed to "hand double" her. LOL

I hope it comes to BD. It had spectacle-- the ship was really the star of the movie. Actually, it was once fashionable to be down on DeCaprio but he has proven himself an exceptional actor many times over. I like Kate Winslet too.

If Paramount is ready to release this on HD-DVD in the US, then Fox can release this on BD internationally. Fox owns the international rights. So it'll be available in Region A, B and C.
