Nope. I'll be ok as long as I get this (and Killer's Kiss) at some point this week, but unlike a regular modern release like Everything Everywhere All at Once, the estimated delivery date wasn't adjusted weeks ago like that one was. I would imagine that's more on Kino Lorber than Amazon though.

I think my copies of The Batman and Wild Things were shipped the day of or like late the day before. I am a little annoyed I've not gotten a shipping notification for this and Killer's Kiss but I'm too concerned yet

Seems to happen with kino titles every time. Amazon still doesn’t have it’s stock from them and who knows how many they will get. I expect to not get this anytime soon.

This one standout comparison has a disclaimer by Beaver claiming Universal removed the intended tint in this shot. The other shots looks within the realm of each other color wise and aren't as drastic as this shot.

This edition definitely still has a warmer tint but that shot sticks out more than most.

Yeah, you look at any of the other shots and it's pretty obvious in the point this shot takes place in the film that the tint is intentional. This looks to be a winner from Kino.

Almost all of those caps look tinted then. I ordered this but wonder whether I should hold onto my old BD as well. Whether it is Clooney and the cashier in the bank or the office guy, everyone looks weird to me. Perhaps this is the way it is supposed to be, but it looks wildly different from what I have seen since my introduction with the D-Theater.

Same. It’s Monday night, Amazon still has no estimated delivery date for either release. Le sigh.

They’ve been very good with Warner Archive releases, but this b.s. with Kino new releases sucks the big one.

Yes, very common. Amazon often doesn't ship KL discs until a few days past the release.

You can play US discs in the UK, assuming Kino hasn’t started locking them, so maybe he just got a US copy earlier than we did. If there’s a UK disc, that’s news to me.

The newer release is warmer but there also seems to be a strong green push in some caps that look a little strange.



The curtains and the lampshade are white/off-white in the previous release. The rabbit has a green tint. The turquoise walls look weird, as if the chroma channel has been boosted. Most of the other screenshots don't look too bad so hopefully this is an isolated issue.
