So six batman movies, six different suits. Is that all Bruce Wayne does inbetween fighting villians?

"Well, that takes care of the Penguin. Hey Alfred, time for you to fashion me a new suit. This one isn't popular with the kiddies anymore. Oh and I want nipples this time....just kidding Alfred. ha ha ho ho, Oh I should have been called the Joker. "

no he uses the first one in TDK but then upgrades...the BB suit wasn't an actual batman suit...just spray painted

You know he has won 2 golden globes right? Both for serious/dramedy type roles. Of course he has been nominated for six total. People don't have a problem with him in serious roles, he has done plenty of them during this second act of his career. People just don't like crappy movies which 23 turned out to be. One of these days he'll get his Oscar nom, but not doing crap like that. What's really funny, he was nominated for a Razzie (worst new star) in 1994. They sure nailed him.

Ok so instead it goes "Hey Alfred, faceless badguy tore my cape and the paint is chipping. Time to fashion me a new one, and I was serious about the nipples. And maybe an outtie bellybutton to mix things up."

sure...but if u're like me u don't give a shit about the Burton and Schumacher films...watching them now they look lame...some just out loud laughable (Arnold as Mr. Freeze)

+ I don't c the problem with him upgrading the suit...

I'm just joking around and pointing out the sillyness of the suits. Every single movie is all about his suit.

The burton batman's were pretty out there for its time. They made superhero movies 'adult'. Schumacher....*shiver*

I enjoyed BB. I didn't **** on the seat infront of me like a lot of fanboys but I did think it was a very solid movie and a good reboot to the franchise. I'm hoping TDK is much better though, starting with the villian.

I like the way the new joker looks like. He looks like he really got problems so I can believe why he is a villian, more in a realistic way then in a cartoony way.

when it comes to critics judging movies, i don't trust them, i would rather judge it myself. lord of the rings got 10 out of 10 according to critics, personally the movie was great, and wonderful, yet it didn't deserve the 10 out of 10. i heard bad things about the number 23, but i ended up liking the movie when i saw it. i think you should try judging the films yourself don't depend on other's words about it.

Heath Ledger just looks like an emo villian not a true joker, Cesar Ramero(1960's kids!) looks alot better as the Joker then this new fag

Tim Burtons two Batman films will always be the best Batman films ever made, the actors were perfect, yes... the good old days when Batman didn't have a lisp and villians didn't look like emo's(Jonathan Crane looked like an emo to)

The Tim Burton ones were great and awesome but this new Joker he brings the crazy side of the Joker because the Joker is supposed to be like a crazy lunatic, so Heath brought that side of the Joker very well just by looking at those pics i can be able to tell that much. And he only looks emo because of that makeup and how they spread it on his face like that but i think Heath will do a wonderful job

Apperantly the change in the Batsuit comes after Joker attacks Batman. Remember Batman couldn't turn his head in BB (or any of the other films). I imagine that being able to turn your head would help when fighting a murderous maniac. The Joker was never supposed to be funny. Read 'Dark Victory' 'Long Halloween' 'The Killing Joke' and 'The Dark Knight Returns'. The Joker was a lunatic. Nolan and the writers wanted to make the Joker as 'real' as they could. Heath and Bale are about the same age. This means that continuing the Joker in other films wouldn't be that hard to do (Scarecrow returns in Dark Knight ) . Jack was in his 50s when he was the Clown Prince of Gotham.

I know but he was still a beast in the first one ... I doubt it would have been put up and then won an oscar had the Governator been in it, and had those comics or stories even been created when that movie came out ?

You need to remember, this is supposed to be early in Batman's career. He is making improvements and changes. Later on it settles down more.
