Suit makes Christian Bale look kinda small, and the suit itself looks a little plain, but I really want to see this one badly!!!

it looks like they changed the suit. why don't they stick to one. I don't see the batman comic books changing suits every time a new one is released. Even so, the pictures have a lot of promises.

I just hope they don't turn this franchise into the Joel Schumacher disaster.

i still think Joker's makeup is awesome in the cartoons it looked kind of like a normal clown (i did like the makeup of the joker in the old 1993 or something like that cartoon and when Jim Carrey was the joker he had the voice down but not the looks. I like this one because it has that dark, evil feel to it

(...Yeah, and they ended up renaming Carrey's Joker "The Riddler"!)

I have that movie and I think it's pretty good. He looked emaciated, almost to the point where he seemed to be destined for a prolonged hospital stay. He looked absolutely horrible. Than again he also made one of the greatest physical transformations in Hollywood history, going from about 120 pounds in The Machinist to about 220 pounds when he was getting ready to film Batman Begins. He ended up leveling off at around 190 pounds.

hold on, jim carrey wasn't the joker, it was Jack Nickelson. although i like the idea Jim Carrey is the joker. after all he is one . earlier right after the release of batman begins there was talks of Micheal Keaton to take the role of the joker, that would have been better, not that i have anything against Heath Ledger. But Keaton has always been a serious character, and a joker at the same time, judging from the original batman and batman returns.

why would jack play as the joker he isnt that funny of a person ok well he was in a few movies but jim carrey would of done a better job and yeah sorry i havent watched that particular batman movie since i was little but even though jim did a great job as the riddler but how can they not have one of the greatest comedians be the joker? (ok i guess he wasnt a comedian in number 23). by the way a new ace ventura? i think it will definitely suck and here i thought they ended those movies since its been like 12 years since number 2 when nature calls i loved that one better then the 1st. but number 3 would probably be like that new dumb and dumber that one called when harry met lloyd because it didnt have jim carrey.

^^

the Joker isn't supposed to be funny, he's a saddistic, crazed out maniac killer, who announce his crimes before he commits...he's supposed to be insane...and from the reviews, Ledger is perfect...Jim Carrey would be shit for the role, we all saw Cable Guy...

seeing as how rotten tomatoes had it in the worst 50 movies of all time, I don't think I'll be watching it anytime soon...

however, let's wait at least for the trailer in december before commenting on the supposed 'definitive' Joker

well thats because they didnt like the fact that a great comedian playing such a serious role it wasnt that bad, not great but at least worth a rental

Crispin Glover would have made a good Joker, as would, I think, Paul Bettany. It kills me when they show Batman in a room full of light. Like when he's jogging through Arkham in Batman Begins, or the pictures above. It takes all the potential fright out of the costume. I like how the cape doesn't look like a Medieval king's cape like it did in Batman Begins, with the two little deals at the base of the cowl that hold the cape on. I'm SO excited for this one, And Batman Begins on Blu-ray!

i know but still people are used to jim playing non-serious roles so people started saying before it even came out that it would suck just because of jim carrey playing a serious role thats just how a good amount of americans think but one thing for sure i will tell you is that it wont win a golden globe for sure but hey sometimes you got to think outside the box thats 1 thing americans dont show very often
