Here are the titles that have been re-released by Lionsgate (who owns the Weinstein Company library) so far, some of these have been out of print for quite a while. If you can find more then please let me know

Scream 4 and Rob Zombie's Halloween films have both appeared at Walmart in-store. DVD only but there could be a possibility of a Blu-ray reissue for both. Keep in mind 2 was originally released on home video by SPHE..

Lionsgate has Zombie’s Halloween 2, Sony had a limited home video distribution deal with The Weinstein Company.

"Death Proof" and "1408" iirc have shown up in stores but they use the original Genius Products packaging with no mention of Lionsgate

I might have to get Scream 4, still haven't seen that.

Haven’t seen Death Proof in stores but I have seen 1408 and Planet Terror.

Absolutely bizarre that Scream 4, RZH1, and RZH2 are DVD-only. I wonder why, especially with Paramount releasing the other Screams on UHD, and Shout Factory and Universal doing the same for the other Halloweens. I have them all on Blu-ray, but would like to upgrade them at some point. I guess it’s possible Lionsgate is quietly keeping Anchor Bay’s Scream 4 Blu-ray in print since it’s easy to find cheap, but I guess this looks like Cinedigm’s rights to RZH1 finally expired.

I really hope Lionsgate releases some TWC films that never got Blu-ray releases like Black Christmas (2006) and Eden Lake.

It’s annoying they are doing those movies with some cool slipcovers as DVD only. I’m in the mind that DVD is only outselling Blu-ray because that’s all they ever offer with new slips.

Scream 4 is still in stock on Amazon.com. And oddly enough Cinedigm reissued RZH on Blu-Ray a year or so ago so I guess Lionsgate got the rights from them?

But whatever, I just want them to give the Director's Cut of RZH2 a reissue.....

That cover for The Mist is dog shit. Why they didn't change it is baffling.

Just a heads up, the DVD that Lionsgate has put out for the second Rob Zombie Halloween is the theatrical cut.

Not gonna happen. Kevin Smith talked about this recently as he was trying to get it back from Harv, offering him a million for it (through lawyers of course). Harvey wants 5 mill. according to Kevin, so doubtful anyone is going pay that at this time.

The craziest thing about these re-issues is they all use the same UPC numbers as the original Genius releases. Never seen a UPC # jump companies like that.

Kevin Smith recently did a podcast where he essentially confirmed he offered upwards of $5 million for Dogma but they refused and instead wanted to collaborate on a bluray re-release which Smith refused to do with Weinstein. Wonder if they’ll do a barebones Dogma release behind his back.
