close encounters will own it hands down. spielberg is all over it. im really exicited about this title though i'm indifferent about the movie itself (its been years and years since i saw it last)....

well alright but i think the point behind this forum is for upcoming releases that wont be releasing till sometime in the 4th quarter

Ratatouille will be by far the best Blu-ray release in Q4. Its a 5 star MQ/PQ/AQ day and date release with HD extras. It doesn't hurt to have the highest RT rating this year either.

i personally think the best movies out of Q4 will come in this order: CEOT3K, Ratatouille, and the Spiderman Trilogy.

what about silver surfer? I think that will look freaking cool.

but the best looking and sounding will be spidey 3 or ratatouille. sony and disney LOVE great transfers. and they're both stunning.

silver surfer sucked balls though. it could have good PQ and AQ but the movie is utter crap IMO.

Close Encounters BD will be the best version yet of this great movie.

Cars and Ratatouille will also look fantastic. I will buy them all.

Spiderman Trilogy, POTC 3, FF4 & SS, Die Hard 1-4, Harry Potter 1-5, Independence Day, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Underworld: Extended Cut, Batman Begins, Pixar Short Films Collection, Vol. 1, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Blade Runner.

I think Harry Potter will be it. Those people are nuts in fandom. Dressing up to buy a book at Barnes and Noble? Please. But you know they’ll go bananas over a Harry Potter release on Blu-Ray. I rather like Spidey, Die Hard, and Batman more, but you can’t beat down crazy people and their nutjob fandom.

But Really If you had Friends over for the holidays and want to show them some great Reference 5 star quality Video and Audio what Titles From Q4 that have not yet to be released will you want to show? Close Encounters, Cars, Master and Commander, Spiderman 3, Even Disney's Meet the Robinsons looks Great from the Disney Blu Ray magic tour what I saw of it. Colors looked incredible on the Panasonic Plasmas.
