Yeah, these may be awesome if they match the tone of the first ones. Great to see both finally return, and with their original hero's in place.

Great surrealism to the series.

[Show spoiler]made it back to the present time and blasted away the demon lady. Hopefully most of his adventures against the undead get back to the forests, but we'll see where it goes.

Not sure where the new series will pick up from but Mark Frost will be releasing a book chronicling what has happened during the last 25 years.

Coincidentally enough, in rewatching the original series on BD, there was a point where Laura Palmer says to Cooper "See you in 25 years."

Considering the ending of the film I expect

[Show spoiler]the Winter Soldier is making a transition to becoming a good guy, but in small steps. His storyline in Civil War will without a doubt have a pretty major impact, as there is a major event in the MCU's past that he was possibly responsible for.

Yeah, I think I remember that line. I'll have to watch it again. I have the DVD set of season 2. The music in this series is very unique and a great fit to the tone of the surreal, evil town of Twin Peaks; and the comical aspects too.

In Civil War it goes full screen for the airport battle, does it do that at all for WS?

I have actually seen this movie in 3D and returned it because I thought the 3D was weak but that was a long time ago and I may have been hasty.

Yeah it's good IMO, nowhere near the current crop of Marvel releases, i guess it was just before Guardians of the Galaxy when they really started to push it. Bear in mind though that i am rarely disappointed with 3D, i love even mild 3D.

I've watched Winter Soldier many times in 3D, only once in 2D for the commentary.

I may have been too hasty getting rid because of the medium 3D. I'll give the movie another chance.

I have the movie in 4K. I thought WS was incredible. Top 5 in my favorite MCU movies but I thought the 3D was so so. All the MCU movies I have in my collection I have the 3D and 4K with WS being the exception so I want to give it another chance.

Oh right I'm with you, yeah that makes sense. The only one of these I have seen in 4K is Spidey Homecoming and I wasn't blown away by the 4K at all but the 3D was terrific.

Never watched this in 3D despite having it for years. I did watch Iron Man 3 3D the other day for the first time, which was meh 3D-wise (movie rocks).

I get that. I've only been blown away with Dolby Vision titles. HDR10 is much less impressive. Unfortunately, HDR10 appears on way more 4K movies.

This is by far my favorite Marvel offering. The people are pretty cool. The effects work. 3D stands out. No stupid powers to cluster mess the story up. The Caps shield even audibly bounces around and has some 3D type metal sounds that reverberate nicely. Johansen is looking beautiful in her prime. If only Larson had an asset like hers. I liked the full figures in the comic books . Celebrate the extreme sized body. Its Marvel!

And the fact that they are vulnerable by sniper fire through walls is introduced. But never used again.

I enjoyed this more than the first Capt America for the story and 3D.
