Australia Terminator 2 - SkyNet Edition - Audio..

Hi everyone.

Anyone else here have the Skynet Edition of T2? I was watching it today, and pressed 'display' on my Onkyo 605, and it was only coming back 'DTS HD MA 5.1' not '6.1' as reviewed and printed on the back'.

i just chucked in The Descent, and that came up as 7.1 (US), so my amp cant be on a 'downsample to 5.1' setting.

I hope they havnt just used the same print/audio as the previous BD release, which also had DTS HD MA 5.1.

anyone else seen the same thing on their HD amp? would like to know, please post.

Mine is a Onkyo 606 it comes up DTS-MA ES for me which is 6.1, I have read somewhere there is a issue with the Onkyo 605 where the Onkyo cant read the ES extension on the DTS-MA track so it will use 5.1

Just got a new Sony STR-DA2400ES receiver. I threw in the new T2 and it too only decoded in 5.1 DTS-MA. Other titles, such as X3 The Last Stand decode in the labeled DTS 6.1 MA. For that matter, any movie I threw at it decoded properly whether it be Truehd, or DTS 5.1, 7.1 etc. T2 is the only one that doesn't seem to decode properly.

Hey guys
I got this problem too to play T2 on home theatre Pc

I can only get 5.1 from power dvd

But I can get 6.1, 7.1, discreet, dolby ex etc etv from all other movie

Is there like a software or firmware needed or is there some hardware configuration that locks it to 5.1 unless you have a certain player?

Thanks
~Hen
