Yeah, but don't forget who are responsible for the critically acclaimed FPS's in video game history; I mean, we will never forget how Half-Life 2 and Portal has helped forever revolutionized the FPS with the gravity gun, the portal gun., etc. When it comes to FPS, they are the experts, and without them, there won't be any FPS franchises such as Resistance or Killzone. Valve needs to adapt to all the consoles, no matter what.

LOLwhat?

First person shooters owe their existence to id Software (Doom, Wolfenstein 3D). Valve came much, much later. They make good FPS games, but let's not be giving them more credit than their due.

Yes that is correct. But all the great FBS's nowadays are from other developers.( since HL1+2

I'm just saying that Valve did their part on reshaping the genre, by giving us revolutionary shooters such as HL2 and Portal. Yes, I'd give credit to those who have built the foundations of the FPS, since Doom and Wolfenstein 3D actually paved the road and then passed the torch to Free Radical (Now Crytek UK, maker of GoldenEye) and Valve to continue paving the road for the genre to survive.

All valve does is just talk bad about Sony. I think it just makes them look lazy. Do we really need more FPS games?

Valve redefined the story aspect of FPS when they released Half Life. From the beginning intro all the way to the shocking ending with the smoking man. When Valve finally gets their ducks in a row for the PS3, I will be a very happy gamer.

I can't wait for that day.

Me too. I hope Valve really get their asses together by hiring those PS3 experts and bringing us L4D and L4D2.

Prey had a Portal system prior to Portal. Yes Half Life 2 was an enjoyable experience, but there are so many other fps's out there..

Thankfully Killzone and Resistance aren't really like Half Life 3

Yes, I'd like to play Left4Dead on the PS3, it is one of the rare 360 games I'm jealous of as it looks fun.

Dear Valve,

If/When you decide to make games for the PS3, please include Keyboard/Mouse support.

That is all.

You're right. They shouldn't say that they are always open for PS3 experts; they should search for any PS3 experts at Sony Computer Entertainment themselves right away. They can't just sit there and wait for someone to come over at their building and say "I can help you with the PS3" and just instantly hire them. That's just called being lazy.

Soooooooo, when will valve games going to show up on the ps3, like 2012, 6 years after ps3's launch. Maybe 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017?

I can't believe left 4 dead 2 will appear a year later. If you think 10 hours is short, try 3-4 on co-op than games ends abruptly,No thanks, I've learned my lesson. I'll wait until this sequel hits $20 used. It was fun the 1st time I played through with AI as here is where you can take your time but the AI was severly flawed but the moment you go online than........
