ive done this a few times actually. I just go up to any register and show them what want, then tell them that so-and-so has it for this price. They typicaly call the place and confirm it there on the phone at that moment. When they find out it's true they adjust their price for the match. I've done it about 3-5 times now. It always works. And ironiaclly enough about 80% of the time it's a price match with my local walmart as well.

You have to have some proof of the price. so yeah, print it out and take it to the cashier.

NO you don't, sorry but I disagree. I never have. They ask em what store. I tell them Wal-mart (I even have the numebr memerized, I don't know why) They call, ask for the electronics department, ask the person the question, they get the asnwer and done. I get the price match

but its probably easier if you have proof that way they dont have to waste time by calling the others store, sometimes that can take FOREVR

I've had success at Best Buy by price matching pages printed from Target.com. They tend to be a good source because Target uses Amazon for selling movies. This way you can get Amazon's price at Best Buy.

Either way. Take a print out, or just have them call. REGARDLESS, it's a pretty easy thing to do. I feel impowered when i do it though , I don't know why.

You really don't even have to do that. They have internet at BB. They can look it up and see. Or if you have internet on your cell phone, pull it up and show it to them.

when I did a price match the guy in the blu section looked it up on line then told me to tell the cashier who then called walmart. But I think amazon has it for 20.49 right now thats cheaper then both if you consider tax...

Beware that some places say that the other store has to have it in stock.

No, not at Best Buy (unless you have a Amazon store within 30 miles of your Best Buy).

If you want Amazon prices from BB then read this thread again and you'll see the answer.

If you don't understand just send me a PM.

Hi. Welcome to the site.

Any chance you could edit/delete your post so that method continues to work for the rest of us?

Thanks.

They don't require it but it saves a lot of time, especially when it's at the register and there's a long line. I just pull up the page on my phone on my way to the line after grabbing my movie. When my printer was broken, I used to go to their computer department and use their printer to print out my reward certificates too
