BB and CC price match?

Is it me or price matching in BB seems to be alot tougher now? I wanted to price match Speed Racer and Cloverfield on Blu from Target which was on sale for $19.95 each.

First I tried BB, I asked if they price match with Target, they said "yes" but ended up not doing it since they said " We can only match the store's price not online" , i asked if anything like BB their online prices should match the store, but again declined with an attitude. Now it seems that if you want to price match the register person would go to customer service and use the computer and check the price then call the store. Before it was just "ok, can i see the printed page.."

I think CC did the best in price match. Though they did the same thing only asked for proof, i just pulled out the iphone and showed them the prices. Verified it with their own computer, then bam.. price matched with an added 10% off. No arguements or anything. No attitudes.

not advertising CC or anything its just BB would go back to it's old days.

I've noticed BB cracking down on price matching. I tried to get them to match Force Unleashed with the gift card from Toys R Us and they said, we don't do that. I said then neither do I and went to Toys R Us to pick it up. I'm usually very happy with Best Buy and love the reward zone program, but they are aggravating when they nit pick every little thing instead of trying to help the customer according to their policies. Of course the policy on matching gift cards is suitably vague so I didn't try to argue it.

CC is going out of buisness, even tho it has for the last lke 10 years, its finally closing

yeah, im usually happy with BB and the rewardzone but with being more strict with the price match i end up buying my blus and games elsewhere.
