Me too, but even if they don't. Old steelbook is great with finish and artwork and i'm really intrigued what they'll use and if finish will be same for US and EU.

I have the old FYE steelbook, but I'd definitely snag this one too. Love this movie; I bet it's gonna look great in 4K

This art is not gonna happen. They won't go for same artwork 2 in a row.
The only way i'd go for this steelbook again is if it'd have somekind of treatment - deboss/emboss... Old steelbook finish is great in both territories - NA and EU.

Paramount has used old designs for a lot of their steelbooks.

Ferris Bueller, Wayne's World, Lara Croft Tomb Raider, I'm sure there's some others I'm forgetting.

But yah they've also used new art for a new steelbook release too so could go either way.

Idk how I missed getting the previous steel, but now I’m hoping that artwork is reused on the 4K steelbook.

Same, they can't top the original fye/or the zavvi, both were the movie poster. Lets hope they do a nice restore on this film as there were so many complaints on the bluray scan.

I'm all for using the teaser poster artwork for the Steelbook, but I really love the 20th Anniversary digibook style Paramount used a few years ago.

Too bad the US release was cheaply made. The UK release used spot gloss instead of embossing and was made of a much thicker material that kept the corners from being dented.

Whoever decided to use that font for Johnny and Christina on the FYE Steelbook should've been fired. It looks terrible and doesn't match the artwork or style at all.

FWIW, I was trying to find the barcode for this using an ASIN to UPC converter, and it generated this cover art when it found the release's listing on Amazon.

I'm glad i have old steelbook which is superior in all aspects.
Especially with glossy finish and metallic efect...
Also dark theme goes perfect with old artwork.

I dig it! Sorta like the Horseman emerging from the fog, in a way. I think the original works a bit better for the film itself, as it's darker and moodier, but there's plenty of moments with silver/grey rolling fog in the film too. Eager to see the back and inside.
