Maybe next year for its 35th anniversary someone will be kind to us. Who knows.
It's not even available digitally and hasn't been for years. LG doesn't seem to are about it.

Does Shout ever get to touch LG films? It would be awesome to get a remastered double feature release, even in HD SDR. Literally anything would be an upgrade at this point.

I've got the first film on digital (HD) and the Umbrella Blu-ray of the second film.

Would love remastered Blu-rays of both though and would purchase day one.

No, Lionsgate hardly ever licenses films out in the USA to other labels. They have on a few rare occasions where the Director/Producer asked them for a special exception, but otherwise very rarely. It could change in an instant of course, but right now it's practically verboden.

Lionsgate seem to license films out far more frequently in Europe, especially in Germany/Austria and Italy. Australia has received some also.

That's not the brag that it was 20 years ago.

I keep hoping I'll wake up and have a Young Guns UHD announcement instead of seeing the crappy Lionsgate BD still on sale for $4.99 for the past 8 years

Umbrella out of Australia just released a “Young Guns” double feature on Blu-ray. I believed it came out this month.

Although this isn’t the answer, but Young Guns is getting a remastered 4K-UHD release from Lionsgate. Not sure if it will be by years end or early next.

Anyone know if the Wal-Mart Western Line Look edition that came out at the end of May is the same terrible disc as we've gotten previously or is it a new master? With it being Wal-Mart, I fear I already know the answer, but had to ask anyway. Also, the Umbrella version of both films is $24.99 at Wal-Mart.
