I'm not usually one for this type of packaging, but for $49.99 including a $50 GC to Shideshowcollectibles.com, it would seem to be a good value for those who are.

I think I might bite. Hell, I got the transforming case from Target and that cost an extra $10. It looks like this Blu-ray will come with a bust.

If price/card value doesn't change, and you are someone who would like Sideshow merch, then this is a great deal simply for that.

Unfortuanately, I can imagine that the bust is tiny, considering the size of a blu-ray case and the size of Optimus's head.

Wish I could have enjoyed the movie, but couldn't. Great deal for the fans though.

The slideshow thing I used to think was ridiculous. Yeah, you've got $50 worth but everything on that website is like $250 at the least. Kind of seems stupid that I got rid of them. Oh well.

i do not know if i will get this, ill see later. When you pre-order it, the estimated arrival dates are: 1/2 - 1/8... which means, is it possible it wont be released until december?

Well, since this was not "announced" at last night's Comic Con preview night, its safe to assume that we will know more before the Con is over. And yes, that includes a release date.

I just went on to see what they had, because I had never heard of the site. 10" Tiger Woods $22.99.... Could use that for my office, also Jason Voorhees for $39.99. Looks pretty cool but he may not be appropriate for the office!!!

I checked out the site too. They have a half-size model of Iron Man Mark III for $2000. Some of their Dragon Ball Z stuff is cool but $149 is still a lot. I would love to pick up the Hulkbuster Ironman bust, but it's sold out.

Couple things you guys should know:

~You can only use a sideshow giftcard on certain eligible items. So something like the cool new Iron Man stuff they have might not qualify for giftcard use. But if it's like the last 2 sets you can most likeley use it on anything Transformers related!

I got the Iron Man bust & giftcard packaging from Best Buy last year...and nothing I wanted qualified. I waited it out for a few months though, and they do update what qualifies- so I got a pretty nice Leia in Bousshe figure for practically nothing!

~Other thing is that even if you order something for less than the card's total value- you still have to pay shipping!

But for me- this Optimus bust will look great next to the Iron Man, and Indy & TCS minis from their respective gift-sets!!!

I probably won't get this, i'm not a huge fan of Optimus. I have the Iron Man gift set which came out last year and i absolutely love the mini head bust. It's not too small and it's pretty cool.
