Sadly it looks like it will go to DVD here in the UK like all the others. I am a big fan of Scooby Doo but the straight to DVD films are very hit and miss at times.

It seems like now for the most part, the only Scooby-Doo releases we get on blu-ray are theatrical releases and live action movies.

Walmart has this listed as 12/31/23 release and amazonand Target have it listed as 10/24/23. Some of the Scooby social medias had mentioned 9/26/23 only at Walmart. Anybody know if they’re getting it 9/26?

I don't think any of the straight to DVD Scooby-Doo films have ever gotten a 4K release. The only Scooby-Doo film that has was Scoob!.

Given the enduring adoration for the Mook films, plus Mystery Inc and Scoobynatural, hopefully they'll eventually make at least some of these movies back more in the style and quality of that content.

Years ago, these annual direct-to-video Scooby movies dropped the Blu-ray format and went DVD-only, though streaming and digital rentals/purchases continue maxing out at HD. Unfortunate for us physical media collectors, regardless. Scooby TV series are about the same, with only a couple classics having been offered on Blu-ray. As another user mentioned, live-action has been made available on Blu-ray though, as recently as 2018's Daphne & Velma.

There's probably a good market for the Mook era films (Cyber Chase already is on Blu-ray), although I believe I read somewhere that those would need work to be HD-ready. Could be mistaken though.

Think there are HD masters for Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost already out there. Just waiting for Alien Invaders at this moment.

You may well be right! I could also be recalling what is now outdated information.

If they do have a proper HD master for Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, and Alien Invaders, it would certainly be to their advantage to release them ASAP on Blu-ray. Those three (along with, to a lesser extent, Cyber Chase that's already on Blu-ray), are probably the most beloved of them all and basically are as franchise-defining as anything other than the original series.

Anyhow, I am off-topic now. Liking the crossover movies, so hopefully Krypto is solid as well.
