Sounds like a cool movie ON PAPER.

The problem I have with these sort of concepts is that I usually imagine a much better movie in my head, so the actual movie ends up underwhelming. Happened with The Final Girls, which could and should have been a classic with some much needed re-writes.

Still, I'll give it a go during October annual marathon. Always willing and hoping to be wrong.

Re-writes are exactly what happened to The Final Girls. You can find the original screenplay online easy enough. It was a completely different movie and certainly intended for an R-rating.

I stand corrected. Knew there was something 'off' about the execution of the movie though, especially how tame and weak the Horror aspects were. Now I want to read the script.

When a Blumhouse film goes straight to streaming you know it’s probably a bit of a damp squib.

That killer looks lame as hell. Remember when they tried to make them actually look creepy? Good times.

Yep, absolutely watching. Feels just like Happy Death Day and Freaky which are both amazing.

I had a lot of fun with this. The film doesn't take itself seriously and goes a good job of keeping you guessing who the masked killer is. I would have preferred some better CGI blood but it didn't spoil things. Recommended.

Twitter really overhyped this one.

Only about 10% of this movie is an actual slasher. The rest is just explaining how the time travel works and pop culture references.

Not scary, but very entertaining.

I loved the situations when the weak Generation Z meets typical 80s Situations and behave like a baby

This was a lot of fun. I can highly recommend it to fans of horror comedy. Know though that this is very low on actual horror.

Just like Happy Death Day(Groundhog Day) and Freaky(Friday), this was the Back to the Future of slasher horror. It was very enjoyable.

Should be called Totally Derivative, but the dialogue is snappy and it's well cast and shot. You can do a lot worse on streaming this Halloween.
