Punch-Drunk Love will be released on February 13, 2024 as part of the Columbia Classics Collection: Volume 4.

Winner of the Best Director Prize at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival, this misfit love story of disconnected people trying to find one another in an antagonistic world is a comedy of discomfort and rage that turns unexpectedly sweet and pure. Adam Sandler gives an amazing and unusual performance as Barry Egan, a socially impaired owner of a small novelty business, who is dominated by seven sisters and is unlikely to find love unless it finds him. When a mysterious woman comes into his life, his emotions go haywire, fluctuating between uncontrollable rage, lust and self-doubt. From the writer/director of Boogie Nights and Magnolia, PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE is a dark, lovely and unique film experience.

Criterion doesn't usually update their written material from BD to 4K. So if that's the case, I think the only real possibility is it being in a Columbia Classics set, as a regular Sony 4K wouldn't include a write-up either.

Never saw this for some reason despite loving all of the PTA films I've seen. I guess at the time I just didn't want to see Adam Sandler in a more serious movie.

I'll blind buy this on 4K. It's been on my Blu-ray buy list for years and never got around to it.

I'm also in the have-not-seen camp for now but it's regarded well and I'd love to check it out for the first time in glorious fourkay

if part of another classics box that's dope but hard to tell because Sony has been letting some go out of house this year. Like the Ranown set for Criterion and the upcoming release of The Blob for Shout Factory

Definitely agree on all but Licorice Pizza. Magnolia, Boogie Nights and Hard Eight would make me especially happy.
